Netrunner used to be based from Ubuntu, before moving to Debian. When did the switch happen & why? Just curious. No more PPA, no more easily upgrading of kernels from: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/

      Hi Greg,

the switch happened almost a year ago with the split of the Ubuntu based version simply rebranded and continued as Maui:

Both Maui and Netrunner since offer an almost identical user experience, albeit with the underlying platform differences.

By the way, the “Readme” desktop icon, which loads “http://www.netrunner.com/readme-desktop-1706” in Firefox, reports a 404/page not found error.

    Nice distro.
